I started stamping nine years ago, after attending my first stamp show here in the bay area. Since then, stamping has become the perfect creative outlet to balance my day job in the techie world. If I could do it 24/7, I would! I am primarily drawn to the simple and cute, but enjoy all different styles of stamping. I love attending stamp shows to see the newest products, designs, and techniques. I also like the recent expansion stamping has seen, riding the wave of scrapbook popularity (but I'm a stamping purist at heart and have yet to enter the scrapbooking world.)

I share the love of stamping with my mom, Bin Yamamoto, who is also an avid stamper. Between the two of us, we simply have more stamping supplies than we know what to do with! Along the way, we've put some of it to good use, motivating each other, and converting several friends into rubberstampers. It's always fun to stamp with others and to meet new stampers with the same enthusiasm. In the past few years, I've been fortunate to have had cards published in Rubberstamper Magazine, Stamper's Sampler and Take Ten.

I currently reside with my husband in the South Bay, where I can often be found holed up in my craft room till the wee hours of the morning (my best time to be creative!) When I'm not aspiring to be a 'professional stamper,' I also enjoy reading, retail therapy, and reality tv. I'm looking forward to seeing what the creative minds here at Stamp on Over come up with!
