I am a single mother of one grown son who has returned to the nest "temporarily." I have been a legal secretary all my adult life (nearly 40 years now) with the exception of a short stint as a third-grade teacher nearly 20 years ago.

I have enjoyed crafting in one form or another all my life, but rubber stamping has dominated my crafting hours for the past several years. I've kind of lost count now, but it must be close to ten; and that doesn't count the years when I first started acquiring all my many artifacts before actually using them. And, I have to admit, my consumption still far outweighs finished product. I am not naturally artistic, and rubber stamping is proving to be a wonderful method to develop my artistic skills. I also have an interest in scrapbooking, mainly because I wasn't able to find any rubber stamping forums when I first started rubber stamping, but there were quite a few scrapbooking ones.

I am looking forward to this new challenge to add to my skill set and the opportunities it will provide to share this passion with other rubber stamping devotees.
